Curriculum Vitae

Paul R. Altsheler

Professional Summary

As an entrepreneur, I have enjoyed both the uncertainty and the reward of working professionally in roles that are complex and directed by opportunity. For the last two years I worked as a frontline essential health care worker. These duties were a subset of my responsibilities as a Community Living Manager for Easterseals Midwest, a social services organization providing residential, employment, and community based services to people living with disabilities and their families in the greater St. Louis metro area.

I am process oriented and a systems thinker. I believe that well managed systems have clearly defined boundaries, inputs, outputs, and procedures. I believe that well managed systems collect transactional data. I believe that analysis of this data, information, should reflect the needs of the stakeholders and serve to support their decisions.

I believe that opportunities benefit from a system oriented approach. My experience and selected contributions demonstrate that I am most effective in the management and analysis of existing systems and that I am motivated by the opportunity to develop new or to improve upon existing systems.
